L’Atelier de Candale

L’Atelier de Candale is the result of a meeting between Jean-Louis Vicard, owner of Candale in Saint-Émilion grand cru appellation, and his friend Thierry Verrat, Michelin starred chef and owner of La Ribaudière Restaurant in Bourg-Charente. The common purpose that animates these two passionate gastronomies is twofold, to create a convivial space for meetings and exchanges around traditional cuisine and wine, and to bring our clients to the superb location of the property implanted in the middle of the vineyards on the southern slopes of the jurisdiction of Saint-Émilion. Through the integration of a young professional team composed of Cyrille Gallard (previously director of La Ribaudière and now co-manager of L’Atelier de Candale) and Chef Jean-Charles Pointreau (previously second chef of La Ribaudière, and who has then served at several great restaurants), L’Atelier de Candale is perceived as the second wind to the Château de Candale.
