Grand Hôtel de Bordeaux, The Regent
Member of the Leading Hotels of the World, the history of the Grand Hôtel de Bordeaux can be dated back to the end of the 18th century.
In the heart of the golden triangle, opposite the Grand Théâtre, the Grand Hôtel de Bordeaux & Spa is on centre stage as an exceptional product after an authentic restoration.
Its neoclassical façade, which is in perfect harmony with that of the Grand Théâtre – both created by architect Victor Louis in 1776 – is also a major reason for the Grand Hôtel’s prestige.
In 1999, Bordeaux businessman Michel Ohayon decided to buy this façade and the adjacent buildings with the firm intention of reviving the myth of the Grand Hôtel, with the help of designer Jacques Garcia.
